Job description:\nOur client, an international manufacturer who is renowned for its well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical bias to join their team. A proactive approach, positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.\nWhy this might be the right role for you:\n * They invest in training and upskilling.\n * You would be joining a settled team where engineers tend to stay long-term.\n * It’s a highly automated site with a strong mix of electrical and mechanical work.\n * Long-term stability.\n * There’s plenty of project work to get involved in, not just day to day breakdowns.\n * There’s ongoing investment in the site, with opportunities to get stuck into improvement projects.\n * You would be working across a wide range of equipment - Conveyors, robotics, packaging lines, fillers, drives, flow wrappers, cappers, pumps and valves etc\nJob details:\n * Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.\n * Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur.

Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.\n * Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.\n * Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.\n * Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.\nQualifications / Experience:\n * Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)\n * Previous experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).\n * Strong fault-finding capabilities.\n * PLC fault-finding experience.\n * Familiar with packaging lines, drives, conveyors, rotating machinery, pumping equipment and valves.\n * Competent in safe working procedures.\nWhat’s on offer:\n * Shift: 4 on 4 off (2 days / 2 nights)\n * Salary: £53,600 (annual pay review)\n * Overtime available at time and a half\n * Holiday allowance - 24 days\n * Pension contribution - Matched up to 8%\n * Private Medical Insurance\n * Employee of the month rewards\n * Free company products\n * On site parking\n * Training and up-skilling opportunities\nPlease note that we can only consider applicants who have the legal right to work in the UK
