Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Pay: £93.00 per day

Reed Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Scunthorpe. These long-term positions are ideal for individuals looking to gain broader classroom experience, explore different school environments, and develop their confidence, skills and career in education.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver a high standard of learning and care, helping pupils to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive setting.

• Supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with learning activities
• Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Preparing learning resources and supporting lesson delivery
• Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable)
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
